Day 4: Maui

We woke up this morning to the sound of rain. Not a good sign considering we had a sailing and snorkeling trip planned for later that morning. Thankfully, the rain was gone after about 45 minutes, just in time for us to get in the car and drive to the harbor. We arrived at the harbor at 8am and was greeted by the sailboat captain. After we entered the sailboat, we were given hot cinnamon rolls, coffee/tea, and a lovely view. We sailed about an hour to Molokini where we swam in very wavy waters off the coast of this gorgeous setting. We brought along disposable waterproof cameras, so those pics should be developed soon. Until then, here's a look at me at the wheel (scary!) and then snapped just after we were done snorkeling. Gorgeous, isn't it?

They then served us a YUMMMMY lunch of Hawaiian style BBQ chicken, rice, salad, followed by the famous Roselani's ice cream. We went speed sailing back to Maui in some fierce wind, which topped off the day to one of the most exhilarating we've had. At promptly 2pm, our trip was done, so Sean and I went to the Lahaina Mall, where we shopped the local surf and Maui shops. We crashed when we got home after such a long day, so we're headed for a hard night's sleep soon. It's only a little after 9pm here, but after 2am in our bodies, so it's no wonder we're zonked. Tomorrow is a tentative beach day. We'll see what happens...
