When we were in our last days in Memphis, Silas had gotten to where he was sleeping about 7 - 8 hours a night. Not bad for a 2 month old. However, with all of the traveling we did the past couple of months back and forth from Virginia to Georgia, he got a wee bit off schedule. Since we've been here in
Fayetteville for 2 weeks, his sleeping at night has been anything but great.
However, last night was our
breakthrough. He actually slept 7.5 hrs straight, and then a couple more after his early morning feeding. Sean and I were overjoyed to actually have gotten a decent
night's sleep, yet at the same time, we both awoke in the middle of the night worrying that he was
ok. I guess now we have to get used to him sleeping well, as we had already unknowingly adjusted to his crazy schedule. But from what I hear about babies, change is the only constant in their lives, so here's to more of the unknown in
the days to come...
