Trips

It was not a weekend for hiking. Too rainy. But we are still enjoying the views from our porch of the fall leaves. I'm leaving Sean for a few days to fend for himself as I fly to Birmingham to visit the land where I grew up. It's been about 3 years since I've been there, so I'm really looking forward to it. Lots of visiting family and maybe a few friends too, if I can track them down, is just what the doctor ordered. My family will be celebrating an early Thanksgiving, as we'll be heading over to Emporia for the real day. It looks to be a fun month ahead.
