We had some Hampton Roads friends come to visit this weekend. We had a gorgeous spring/fall day yesterday, and so we visited a winery about 45 minutes from Warrenton. It was a beautiful drive, temps in the 70's, and the property there was worth the trip. We spent last night talking, playing games, and enjoying the company of old friends. We have been fortunate to have been able to develop new friendships here in Warrenton, but there is something about old friends that meets an inherent social need like nothing else. After lunch today, they headed back to Virginia Beach. We hated to see them go, but are grateful for the beautiful weekend.
