We were pleasantly surprised upon our return from San Antonio that the weather in PA had begun its shift toward spring. We've been able to enjoy the luxury of keeping our windows open to allow the breeze to waft through our place since.
Last weekend we went to a toy train expo that one of the members of the church had gotten us tickets to, and it was really neat. It was a massive event with different buildings for vintage trains & accessories, new trains & accessories, selling/trading, and displays of some set up and moving along. It was amazing how much detail there is to becoming a toy train aficionado. Sean was telling me about how his aunt used to have a train set up beneath her Christmas tree every year, so we though that might be a good thing to employ... once we live somewhere.
We also went back to Lititz, me for the second time, Sean for the first. When I went with Vicki a few weeks ago, I knew Sean would want to experience the Chocolate Cafe for himself, and he was not disappointed. It was too hot that day for hot chocolate (an incredible 83 degrees, as I remember), but we enjoyed the food nonetheless.
This weekend we're planning to go to a restaurant that isn't too far from us that has live jazz on the weekends. We're also hoping to find some place to go hiking soon . We went on a wild goose chase the other day to a trail we had heard about, but it ended up being on private land. Plan B, I suppose...
Romance.
