Happy Belated Thanksgiving

It's been a busy week. We spent a week and a half with Sean's parents in Emporia and were able to celebrate with them their 40th anniversary. We had a fun day of going out to eat at one of their favorite restaurants and doing a bit of shopping. We headed down here to GA on Wednesday and fought through one of the busiest traveling days of the year. We got caught up in some serious traffic, but finally found our way back south. Thanksgiving was a day of eating and eating some more, as it is for most of us, and the days since have been trying to finish up all those yummy leftovers. As the Howards are known for, we found our way to some shopping on Black Friday, but didn't do too much damage. It wasn't a year for the 5am rush, but next year, watch out...

And tonight was a bittersweet tradition. My beloved Tide failed again at materializing a win against the Auburn Tigers, making that a 6 game losing streak. (I have now even converted my GA niece into becoming loyal to AL. She wants a crimson jersey for Christmas. :) )But, as I watch the game with my Daddy, an avid Auburn fan, I can squeak out a good feeling or two at having at least one win in the family. But next year, watch out...
