We've been meeting a lot of new people this past week. While Sean has been in the church every day since we've arrived, I've already attended 3 separate functions they were holding there throughout the week. It's been good getting more familiarized to our new church home and learning some of the many names we've been introduced to.
Last night, we went to a dinner at a couple's home in the neighborhood. It was a good time of fellowship, and it ended with a lively debate over free will vs. predestination. Not my favorite topic (it was rather exhausted in college), but it's good that people are thinking.
We also found the Super Target closest to us yesterday afternoon in a new development that took us by a beautiful river and some huge homes. Charlotte is a lovely city.
