Fall at the Dixon

A lady from the church took us to a local museum and gardens yesterday called The Dixon. We attended a lecture called "The Road to Impressionism." While fascinating, Sean and I concluded at the end of that hour that it was not just a little over our heads. But the walk through the gallery and the subsequent walk through their beautiful gardens made it a lovely day, one of several lately that we've had that have given us wonderfully southern temperatures again - highs in the mid-70's. And, perhaps most exciting for us of all, we saw some of our first glimpses of true autumnal colors overhead.
We're still talking about making a trek into the mountains soon to spend a weekend for our what is popularly known as a "babymoon" before our little man comes. Which, by the way, is right at 3 months away, as I just offically entered my third trimester. Time waits for no man...
