Birthday Get-together

My (Shannon's) Mother's birthday was yesterday, and we decided to meet halfway in Greenville, SC for a day of shopping with the family. Momma, Gram, Christine, and the kiddos got to come, so I thoroughly enjoyed getting to spend a lovely day with part of my family. We might just make exchanging gifts at the food court a tradition, as that is what we did at the Mall of Georgia for my birthday in August last year as well. And we realized just how close we are, as the trip only took each of us about an hour and a half or less. Not too bad for a day trip, especially when it means getting to see the family that has lived so far away for almost 9 years!
