The high today is supposed to reach 59 degrees! It is a welcome respite from the bitter colds we've almost gotten used to at this point. Rainy, but warmer. I'll take it.
We have a guy here visiting with us this month from Sean's firm. He got in a couple days ago, about our Dad's age, and he had quite the adventure in finding housing. He had rented a room in downtown York from Craigslist before he arrived, and to make a long story short, it made crack houses look lovely. Now, he has found a room to rent from a couple who is renovating this old mill from the 1800's out in the boonies. Sean said it's really cool with raw wood beams and a stream stocked with trout running through the backyard. The problem there is that it's so far out in the boonies that his cell doesn't work, and they hadn't yet put a phone line out there. The phone line should be in by tomorrow, and he was going to work last night at setting up a router from the the owners' computer next door so that he could possibly get wireless, at least. Hopefully, it all worked out, because we haven't heard from him yet today. Really nice guy. And he happened to bring two poles for fishing with him, so I think he'll like it.
Romance.
